Here we are again...finally...sorry...I'm a terrible blogger.
We have had a fairly quiet winter... but spring is in the air.
We took the opportunity to make the trek to Saskatchewan for the Victoria Day weekend. Here are a few photos that we took of our four grandsons.
This is Liam David.

If you know our family...or more accurately, if you know me, you know that I have a tendancy to give my children, and now my grandchildren nicknames.

The nicknames change over time as the children and the situations change.

So for now the nickname that appears to fit Li'l Liam is "Bugsy".

Bugsy had a cold on the weekend. His eyes were watering...as was his nose.

But as tough as he was feeling he still had the most precious smile that just melts your heart when it takes over his beautiful little face...what a doll.

This is Evan Timothy.

I have no idea where these big blue eyes came from.

But they are beautiful.

As is his smile.

This picture really leads to Evan's current nickname...

"Bubba"

Yeah, you heard me right Evan, you look like a good o'l boy....

"Bubba fits...for now.

This is Dylan Michael.

As you can see they do not look a lot alike...

...so you can know for sure that "they are NOT identical!

I just told Dylan a little joke...I guess he thought it was a little lame.
But I think he was really laughing on the inside.

Maybe not.

Dylan's current nickname is the same as it has been since birth, for me at least.

I call him "Mini Me"

Poor kid...hope he grows out of it.

This is Caden John

Caden fits the phrase "The apple didn't fall far from the tree".

Hence, I call him Junior....Justin Junior.

Already glued to the computer...or the television...

And don't try to break his concentration...at least not while either the TV or the computer has captured his attention.

It was a great trip. We had a wonderful time with the grandsons...oh, it was great to see their parents as well...but grandchildren seem to have a way of capturing the hearts of grandma and grandpa.
It was sad to have to leave the grandsons, and of course their parents, to head home on Monday. But every cloud has a silver lining....we have our two little grandaughters, Maggie and Lyla back in Calgary. So we are sad...but excited...
Oh, if you would please...leave a brief comment so I know that someome is actually logging in to this blog. If you do, maybe I'll get motivated to do a better job of blogging.
What's next? Let's see...June 5 is Jacqueline's birthday...stay tuned...
